April 2022, shortly after the beginning of the unjust war waged upon the fledgling democracy of Ukraine, a drawing of mine was purchased via the popular Ukraine Support Pledge scheme by way of The Artist in the Gallery Hall Instagram page.

Instead of paying directly to me, the buyer made a donation via the Ukraine Support Pledge page on the justgiving.com fund-raising service.
Now, for one week from the site’s launch in mid-July (15th – 22nd) (now extended until midnight on 28th July ’22) I am bringing the Ukraine Support Pledge scenario to The Artist in the Gallery Hall‘s brand new commercial web site.
If you would like to buy a drawing during the opening week you can get any piece for at least 50% off of the listed price by donating all the money to the cause – albeit with an additional payment for postage and packing.
I would love for you to take advantage of this opening week offer, an opportunity to play a small but important part in supporting Ukraine’s fight for democratic freedoms.

Directions for taking part
- Peruse the site and make your choice of drawing[s].
- Use this simple form to send me the name or serial number of the drawing[s] that you would like to purchase.
- Now, please go to the Ukraine Support Pledge page and make your donation for at least 50% of the usual price of the drawing – you can of course donate more if desired.
- Send proof of your donation [e.g. a screengrab of the confirmed donation from the pledge site] to james@theartistinthegalleryhall.com, using the same email you used in the form.
- You will then receive an invoice for the packing and post [amounts listed below].
- Upon payment of the packing and postage invoice, the drawing will be dispatched with the inimitable Artist in the Gallery Hall style and care – including your official certificate of authenticity of course.
