A magic moment after an irksome and ever-so-slightly-scary morning having been trapped down a train siding on my lonesome. Nneka Uzoigwe, a practiced award winning painter making her study of Rembrandt’s Self-Portrait at the Age of 63 in room 22. Occasionally a work will sell at the actual time of the drawing’s execution – this was the best of those moments after the mini-nightmare of the morning.
